The Kansas Jayhawks are synonymous with basketball. Among their legendary coaches are both the “Father of Basketball Coaching,” Phog Allen, and the father of basketball itself, James Naismith (who was their first coach in 1898). We barely have the space to mention all the world-famous former Jayhawks who played here or their 50 NCAA tournament appearances and counting – the legend of KU hoops is still unfolding.
