Converse Checkpoint Pro Ox Suede Shoes
Seen here in a rich midnight turquoise colourway with black leather overlays, this edition of the Converse Checkpoint Pro Ox has durable rubber backed suede uppers across an archival low-top silhouette with a padded ankle border. Subtle perforation has been added onto the side panels alongside signature Cons decoration which includes a cut out star and pointed line which has been cut from smooth black leather. The cotton laces have been dyed to colour match the rest of the design and provide a secure fit above the top of a curved tongue which is made from leather. Around the inner edge of the ankle a soft leather border has been added for comfort and throughout the inside a soft suede like lining has been added alongside a molded PU sockliner which delivers a high level of cushioning. Around the back of the heel a curved leather patch has been added with an embossed Cons logo positioned centrally for further branding. Tying in with the rest of the design, the outsole is made from matte black rubber and features a traction focused tread pattern to help support grip across a variety of terrains.
Originally a tennis model, the Converse Checkpoint Pro has returned as part of the CONS skateboarding project with an array of skate-ready features that provide impact support, comfort and durability across a classic silhouette. Launched in 2009, Converse have gathered a host of talent for their team including the likes of Alexis Sablone, Louie Lopez, Sean Pablo and Jake Johnson.
